Prostate Causing My Sexual Disorders?

A 26 year-old man suffers from prostate problems that cause his weak erections, premature ejaculation, urination pain, and poor libido.

Case #: 240

Concern:

My penis has been having what seems to be a precum discharge. It also hurts when I pee. I too suffer from fairly weak erections and premature ejaculation issues. I'm only 26, but my libido is like I'm 50. Thoughts?

Discussion:

It sounds like you are suffering from prostate problems. Although this is abnormal at your age, it is becoming more common as diets get worse. Bad diets, along with activities like over-masturbation, lead to a state of inflammation in the body that can enlarge a prostate.

The prostate is a walnut-shaped gland that sits beneath the bladder and surrounds the urethra and is responsible for producing semen. Most men have a period of prostate growth in their mid- to late-40s. As tissues in the area enlarge, the prostate often compresses the urethra and blocks urine flow, resulting in Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH), or prostate gland enlargement.

Prostate problems affect sexual function as well. Ejaculation abrades the prostate ejaculation duct and induces PSA elevation for 24-48 hours. Meanwhile, prostaglandin E-2, an inflammatory hormone, sees spike in production in the prostate, bulburethral and urethral tissues for 24-48 hours or longer. This is why some men experience post-ejaculation pelvic or prostate pains and precum/semen leakage in the post-ejaculation state.

Prostate problems can cause a weak erection, which can lead to premature ejaculation. When a man experiences a weak erection, he may contract the muscles around his genitals in order to aid the erection.

By doing so, he subjects the prostate gland to added pressure and stress. This added load on the prostate can mimic orgasmic contractions and precum that leads to premature ejaculation. For more on herbs that heal a painful prostate, try “Herbs for Premature Ejaculation & Painful Prostate.”
